It's not difficult to live in this world and be fascinated by birds. I'm an artist first, then a photographer, then a birder. Fossil records indicate that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs during the Jurassic Period. Some birds survived the extinction event that occurred 66 million years ago, and their descendants continue the dinosaur lineage to the present day. They deserve utmost respect on this planet because of the fact that they fly, and that they have been here the longest. They look after themselves, have the freedom of the skies, and their voices are heard everyday by every person. I look at pigeons, gulls, blackbirds, crows, geese and swans.
